58mm E61 Portafilters & Accessories
Find bottomless portafilters and preparation tools for compatible 58 mm E61 setups. Check the locking tabs and basket fit against your machine before ordering.
Choose a portafilter, basket, dosing cup or tamper to suit the equipment you own. Compatibility varies by model; the 58 mm label alone does not confirm a fit. For the Breville Barista Express, Pro and Touch, see Breville 54 mm accessories.

Which machines use a 58 mm E61 portafilter?
Machines with an E61 group head, common on prosumer brands such as Rocket, ECM, Profitec and Lelit. The Gaggia Classic and Rancilio Silvia take 58 mm baskets but use different locking lugs, so these portafilters do not fit them.
What is the difference between 304 and 316 stainless steel?
Both are food-grade stainless steel. 316 adds molybdenum, which improves resistance to corrosion from hot water and cleaning products; 304 is the standard grade in most espresso parts. Either works for daily home use.
What does a 2-in-1 bottomless and spouted portafilter do?
It switches between two setups: bottomless, for watching extraction and spotting channeling, and spouted, for splitting a shot between two cups or brewing into a short glass.
What dose should I use in an 18 g basket?
Start at 18 g and stay within about 1 g either way. Too little coffee leaves headspace that can make the puck soupy; too much can press the coffee against the shower screen.
Do I need paper filters in a 58 mm basket?
No, they are optional. A 58 mm paper filter can reduce fines in the cup and make the puck easier to knock out, which is why many home baristas use one to fine-tune clarity.
