The textured metal surface is available in three colors. Select the finish you prefer; size and rated dose remain the same.
Flat, perforated base
A field of small holes spans the flat base. Grind, dose and puck preparation still determine how your shot runs.
Ridgeless sides
The basket has no retaining groove around its wall. Spring tension varies between portafilters; a suitable retaining spring may be needed if the basket sits loosely.
How to Use
- Check fit. Compare the dimensions with your current basket. Seat it in a suitable portafilter without forcing it and confirm that it is securely retained.
- Weigh the coffee. Start near the nominal 18g dose, adjusting for the beans, grind and available headspace. A coffee scale helps repeat your recipe.
- Prepare the puck. Distribute and tamp evenly. If using a WDT tool, avoid scraping the basket surface with the needles.
- Brew and empty. Brew using your machine's instructions. When removing the puck, support the portafilter on a suitable knock bar; do not strike the loose basket directly against a bin.

FAQ
Will it fit every 58mm portafilter?
No. Check the 70mm rim, 60mm inner opening, 24.5mm height and retaining spring against your existing setup. Do not force the basket into place.
Is this a three-basket set?
No. Each purchase contains one basket in Silver, Purple or Rainbow, as selected.
Is 18g the basket weight?
No. It is the nominal coffee dose. Adjust your dose to the coffee and available headspace.
Why might a ridgeless basket feel loose?
