A removable espresso basket with a rounded bowl, rolled rim and a small central field of perforations. Made from silver-finish 304 stainless steel for a compatible 58 mm bottomless portafilter.

Before ordering: compare the rim, body and height below with your current basket. The 58 mm designation alone does not confirm fit.

Specifications & Fit

Nominal basket size 58 mm
Material / finish 304 stainless steel / silver
Outer rim diameter 70 mm
Outer body diameter 60 mm
Total height 33 mm
Perforations 292 holes, 0.3 mm each (supplier specification)

Check that the rim seats securely, the rounded base has enough clearance and the portafilter locks into your brew group without forcing it. Compatibility with specific machine models has not been confirmed.

Espresso basket dimensions: 70mm rim diameter, 60mm outer body diameter and 33mm height

Using & Cleaning Your Basket

  1. Fit the basket into a compatible bottomless portafilter.
  2. Add and prepare your ground coffee, leaving suitable clearance beneath the shower screen. Adjust grind and dose to suit your machine and coffee.
  3. After brewing, let the metal cool, remove the grounds and rinse. Check the perforations for residue and allow the basket to dry.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will it fit every 58 mm portafilter?

No. Compare all three measurements above with your portafilter and check brew-group clearance. A matching nominal size is only a starting point.

Why is the rim wider than 58 mm?

58 mm is the nominal basket class. The rolled outer rim is wider, so use the actual measurements when checking fit.

How much ground coffee does it hold?

A fixed dose in grams is not specified. Choose a dose that fits the basket and leaves suitable shower-screen clearance.

What is included?

One silver rounded-base espresso filter basket. Portafilters, coffee machines, cups and other props shown in the images are not included.
