What do you need for a home espresso setup?
Start with a brewer, compatible coffee and the water preparation your machine requires. A grinder is useful for whole beans; a scale helps you repeat your recipe; a milk frother is optional. These portable setups make espresso-style coffee one cup at a time, with separate tools for milk preparation.

Before you brew
Add pre-heated water to the brewer. For warm milk drinks, heat milk separately and use a suitable frothing vessel.

Capsule systems, basket dimensions and accessories are model-specific. A 51 mm basket does not guarantee that another brand’s tamper, portafilter or capsule adapter will fit. Confirm compatibility before ordering.
Build around the coffee you drink
Whole beans
Keep a burr grinder to grind just before brewing. Add a scale to record dose and brew time. Follow your brewer’s basket capacity instead of applying one recipe to every machine.
Capsules
Skip the grinder when you use compatible capsules. Check the capsule system and included adapter first, and prepare water as instructed for your chosen machine.
Milk drinks
Choose the rechargeable wand for separately prepared milk, or the 5-in-1 automatic frother for heating and hot or cold foam. Neither is an integrated espresso-machine steam wand.

Start with the original 2-in-1.
These instructions apply only to the original 2-in-1 brewer. For the white capsule brewer and 3-in-1 hot & cold machine, follow their product pages and included instructions. The figures below are preparation limits, not a fixed espresso yield or ratio.

Choose & measure
For grounds, begin with about 13 g of finely ground coffee. Keep within the basket capacity. For capsules, fit the capsule adapter and check compatibility first.
Prepare hot water
Charge the brewer before use. Add pre-heated water up to the marked maximum line, no more than 100 mL, and assemble the parts as instructed.
Brew & make a note
Start extraction with the brewer control. Record your coffee dose and brew time so you can repeat a cup you enjoy. Use the included cup or another suitable vessel.
Finish & clean up
Enjoy as brewed, add hot water, or top with separately prepared milk foam. Let the brewer cool, rinse removable coffee-contact parts and keep powered components dry.
Make the next cup your own
Adjust one variable at a time, such as grind or dose, and taste again. For milk coffee, bring your own milk and a suitable frothing vessel; heat milk separately when making a warm drink.
Home espresso setup FAQs
Can I leave out items I already own?
Yes. Open a recommended setup and uncheck individual products before adding it. Each setup keeps its own product and color choices as you switch tabs. Add Selected to Cart adds only checked items from the setup you are viewing.
What comes with my selection?
Your order contains one of each checked product in the chosen variant. This is a selectable group of individual products, not one fixed boxed kit. Check each product page for its box contents. Coffee, capsules, milk and a kettle are not included. The automatic frother has its own vessel; the handheld wand needs a separate vessel.
How does the bundle saving work?
Select 2 products for 15% off, or 3 or more for 20% off. Each card reflects its current selection and the total updates as you change products. Final eligibility and savings are confirmed in the cart and at checkout.
Which capsules and accessories fit the brewer?
Check the product page for the machine in your selected setup. The white capsule brewer supports compatible NS Original-style capsules; the 3-in-1 hot & cold model has DG-style and NS-style adapters. For the original 2-in-1 machine, confirm its listed capsule format. Basket sizes and accessories are not interchangeable by default.
Does the frother heat or steam milk?
It depends on the frother you select. The rechargeable handheld wand adds foam but does not heat milk; warm milk separately. The 5-in-1 automatic frother offers hot and cold foam and milk-warming modes. Neither works as an integrated espresso-machine steam wand. Follow the selected product’s fill marks and instructions.
Do I need a separate source of hot water?
The original 2-in-1 brewer and white capsule brewer require pre-heated water. For the 3-in-1 hot & cold model, follow its selected mode and included water-preparation instructions. A kettle is not included in these setups.
How do I care for the tools?
Let the brewer cool before taking it apart. Rinse removable coffee-contact parts, brush the grinder as instructed and wipe the scale after use. Keep the brewer body, grinder mechanisms and powered components dry as directed by their product manuals.
Do I need a grinder and scale for home espresso?
A grinder is useful when you brew whole beans; skip it for pre-ground coffee or compatible capsules. A scale helps you measure the coffee dose and record a repeatable recipe. You can uncheck either accessory if you already own one.
Is a portable setup the same as a countertop espresso machine?
These compact brewers are designed for single-cup espresso-style coffee with model-specific adapters and separate milk tools. If built-in steaming, an integrated water-heating workflow or several drinks in succession are priorities, compare those features and operating instructions when choosing a countertop machine.
How much does a home espresso setup cost?
The cost depends on your chosen machine, accessories and variants. Each setup card shows its current selected total. Uncheck tools you do not need to see the price change; the cart and checkout confirm eligible savings, taxes and delivery charges.
