Yes. It takes portafilters up to 58 mm, so you can knock out full-size 58 mm baskets as well as smaller home espresso portafilters on the bar.

Will the knock bar damage my portafilter?
The bar is cushioned: it is rubber-coated, so the basket rim hits a cushioned surface instead of bare metal. Use controlled force and tap on the bar, not the container rim.
