How to Use
- Distribute. Support the portafilter on a stable surface. Remove the wooden top and gently stir the loose grounds with its needles.
- Store the WDT top. Lower the needles into the handle and seat the magnetic top.
- Tamp vertically. Place the base flat on the coffee bed, keep the collar level with the basket rim, press straight down, then release and lift away.
Check that the chosen base fits your basket freely before use.

FAQ
Which size should I choose: 51mm, 53mm or 58.35mm?
Match the tamper base to your basket's usable internal diameter at tamping depth. The 58.35mm option needs enough clearance throughout its travel. These are three separate sizes; machine brand alone does not confirm compatibility.
How does the espresso tamper with magnetic WDT work?
Lift out the rosewood top and use its six needles to stir the loose grounds. Return the top to the handle, then use the tamper to compress the coffee. The WDT head is part of the included top.
What does the 30 lb spring mechanism do?
The supplier specifies a 30 lb spring force. The mechanism provides resistance as you press. Keep the portafilter supported and the collar level; grind, dose and distribution still affect the result.
Are the portafilter and tamping mat included?
No. Portafilters, baskets, coffee, tamping mats and other scene props are shown for demonstration only.
How should I care for the tamper?
Wipe grounds from the steel base and needles after use, and dry the parts before storage. Handle the exposed needles carefully and keep moisture out of the wooden top and spring housing.
