How to Use

  1. Add ground coffee to your basket. Check that the selected distributor size seats securely on the rim.
  2. Adjust the needle depth for the coffee bed. The tips should move through the grounds without scraping the basket floor.
  3. Place the tool on the basket and gently turn the handle three full rotations, as recommended in the supplied instructions.
  4. Lift straight up. Tamp the coffee with a separate tamper, then brew.

FAQ

Which size should I choose?

Match the 51mm, 53mm or 58mm option to your basket opening. Check the rim shape and needle clearance as well as the nominal diameter. A machine's nominal portafilter size alone does not confirm the fit.

How does the magnetic WDT base attach?

The embedded magnets hold against a compatible magnetic basket rim. Magnetic attachment depends on the basket material and rim shape.

Can I adjust the needle depth?

Yes. Adjust the shaft height for your basket and coffee dose, leaving enough clearance to avoid contact with the basket floor.

Does this replace an espresso tamper?

No. The needles distribute loose grounds; a separate tamper compresses them afterward. Choose a matching size from our spring-loaded espresso tamper options.

What are the return and import-duty terms?
