Prepare your dose with a 58mm espresso dosing cup with lid and a removable lifting rod. Add grounds to the cup, position it over a compatible portafilter basket, then gently lift and rotate the rod to release the coffee.

The anodized aluminum alloy body has a straight upper wall and a sculpted lower waist. Choose Gray, Black or Silver for your home espresso setup.

How to Use

Add your dose. Keep the lifting rod seated inside the cup and add measured coffee grounds.
Position the cup. Remove the lid and seat the cup over a compatible 58mm portafilter basket. Support the portafilter securely.
Release the grounds. Gently lift and rotate the central rod so the coffee falls into the basket below.
Finish puck preparation. Remove the cup, then distribute and tamp using your usual tools before brewing.

Will this portafilter dosing cup fit my espresso machine?

This dosing cup is made for 58mm baskets. Basket rim profiles and grinder clearance vary, so compare your equipment with the listed cup dimensions. Compatibility with individual machine models has not been verified.

How does the coffee dosing cup lifting rod work?

The rod has a broad flared disk at its base. With the cup supported over a compatible basket, gently lift and rotate the rod to let the grounds drop through the base.

Does the lifting rod replace a tamper?
