How to Use
- Adjust the height. Set the needles for your basket, leaving about 2 mm / 0.08 in above the basket bottom.
- Place over the basket. Add your ground coffee to the portafilter, then position the distributor over it.
- Rotate by hand. Turn the upper handle smoothly to work the needles through the grounds.
- Lift off and tamp. Remove the tool, level the grounds and finish with a separate espresso tamper.

Will this 58mm rotary WDT tool fit my portafilter?
This is the 58mm model. Basket depth, rim shape and clearance around the portafilter can vary, so check your setup before ordering. Fit for specific espresso-machine models has not been confirmed.
How do I set the needle depth?
Use the rear adjustment knobs to suit your basket. We recommend leaving about 2 mm / 0.08 in between the needle tips and the basket bottom. Check clearance before rotating.
Does this stand-mounted WDT tool tamp the coffee?
No. It distributes the grounds with fine needles. Lift it off, level the grounds and use a separate tamper before brewing.
Does the rotary needle distributor need power?
No. Turn the upper handle by hand; no motor, charging or electrical connection is required.
Are the portafilter and coffee machine included?
