54mm Espresso Accessories
Breville's home espresso machines, including the Barista Express, Pro, Touch and Impress models, the Bambino and the Infuser, use a 54 mm portafilter; in the UK and Europe they are sold as Sage. Tools that work inside a 54 mm basket are 53–53.3 mm, so this collection pairs 54 mm gear with the 53 mm versions of Yozcoffee tampers, distributors, WDT tools and puck screens.
You will also find a 54 mm dosing cup, round paper filters and a 54 mm bottomless portafilter. On multi-size products, select the 53 mm or 54 mm option.

Why 54 mm Breville baskets take 53 mm tools
Choosing your coffee equipment
What size tamper do I need for a Breville Barista Express?
A 53 mm or 53.3 mm tamper. The Barista Express uses a 54 mm portafilter, but the tamper has to be slightly smaller than the basket to move freely; a 54 mm base binds against the walls. The same size fits the Barista Pro, Touch, Bambino and Infuser.
Which Breville machines use a 54 mm portafilter?
The Barista Express, Barista Express Impress, Barista Pro, Barista Touch, Barista Touch Impress, Bambino, Bambino Plus, Infuser and Duo-Temp Pro. The Dual Boiler and the Oracle series use 58 mm.
Why does a 54 mm collection include 53 mm products?
Because 53 mm is the right size for tools that work inside a Breville 54 mm basket. Tampers, distributors, WDT tools and puck screens need clearance from the basket wall, so choose their 53 mm option. The dosing cup and bottomless portafilter are 54 mm because they fit the portafilter itself.
Will the 54 mm bottomless portafilter fit a Bambino?
It is listed for the Barista Express (BES870), Barista Pro (BES878) and Barista Touch (BES880). For a Bambino or another 54 mm model, check the product page or contact support with your model number before ordering.
Does a puck screen fit in a Breville 54 mm basket?
Yes, use the 53 mm size. It sits on top of the tamped coffee, so leave a little headspace; if the screen presses into the shower screen, lower the dose by about 0.5–1 g.
