The Yozcoffee spring-loaded espresso tamper pairs a rounded grip with a visible spring mechanism and a stainless steel ripple base. Press it straight into your filter basket to tamp the coffee bed; the concentric grooves leave the ring pattern shown in the product photos.

Choose your fit: 51, 53 or 58 mm base diameter, in Black, Silver or Gunmetal. Each order includes one tamper in your selected size and finish. Overall height is approximately 102 mm (4.02 in).

How to Use

1. Choose a tamper that fits the inside diameter of your filter basket. The espresso machine name or nominal portafilter size alone may not be enough to confirm fit.
2. Dose your ground coffee into the basket and distribute it evenly. Rest the portafilter on a stable tamping surface.
3. Keep the tamper upright, lower the base into the basket and press straight down with a steady motion.
4. Release, lift the tamper straight out and clear loose grounds from the basket rim before brewing.

Do not force an oversized tamper into a basket. A silicone tamping mat can give your portafilter a dedicated resting surface.

Cleaning & Care

Brush away loose grounds and wipe the tamping base after use. Use a soft, slightly damp cloth when needed and dry thoroughly. Keep water out of the exposed mechanism and avoid prolonged soaking or abrasive cleaners.

Which size should I choose?

Measure the inside of your filter basket where the tamper will sit, then choose 51, 53 or 58 mm for an appropriate fit. Basket shapes and dimensions vary, so check before ordering.

Is this a flat-base tamper?

No. Its tamping surface has concentric grooves. The coffee-puck photos show the ring pattern left by that surface.

What is the spring pressure?

The supplied specifications do not give a calibrated force rating. This product is described as spring-loaded without a fixed kilogram or pound pressure claim.

Does it include all three sizes or any other tools?

You receive one tamper in the size and finish selected. Other preparation tools and the three base options shown in the photos are not a bundled set.
