Fine Mesh, Supported from Outside
The inner fine mesh holds the coffee bed while the perforated outer layer supports the filter's conical shape. A polished rim and short side tab make it easy to seat on your cup or server.

Use the same 304 stainless steel filter for your next coffee and the one after that. Rinse after brewing and let it dry between uses. No more running out of filters before the first cup of the day.
Find Your Size
The cone rests where it meets the rim of your cup or server. Measure across the inside of the rim, then pick the size with the wider opening.
- Small: 8.5 cm opening, 6 cm tall. For rims up to about 8 cm across.
- Large: 11.2 cm opening, 8.8 cm tall. For wider-mouth servers with rims up to about 10.5 cm across.

How to Use
- Set the filter on your cup or server.
- Rinse the filter with hot water and add ground coffee.
- Pour a little hot water to wet the grounds, then continue pouring slowly in stages.
- Let the coffee drain, lift off the filter once cool enough to handle, and serve.
Adjust your grind, coffee dose and pouring pace to taste. Brew volume depends on your recipe and vessel.
Rinse. Dry. Brew Again.
Allow the filter to cool, discard the grounds and rinse the mesh soon after brewing. Hand wash gently as needed and dry fully before storage. Do not force the inner and outer layers apart.

Common Questions
Do I need paper filters?
No. The fine stainless steel inner mesh filters the grounds on its own, so you never need to buy paper liners.
Which size should I choose?
Measure across the inside of your cup or server rim. Small (8.5 cm opening) suits rims up to about 8 cm; Large (11.2 cm opening) suits rims up to about 10.5 cm. Leave room below the cone for the coffee to collect.
Will my coffee taste different from paper-filtered coffee?
Yes. A metal filter lets natural coffee oils and a few very fine particles through, which gives a fuller body and richer texture. Expect a little sediment at the bottom of the cup.
Are both sizes included?
No. Each order includes one filter in your selected size.
What grind should I use?
Start with a medium grind, slightly coarser than you would use with paper, then adjust to taste. A coarser grind also reduces sediment and keeps draining steady.
How do I clean it?
Let the filter cool, empty the grounds into a bin, rinse promptly and let it dry. Hand wash gently when needed and avoid abrasive scrubbers.
