Collect the dose inside the cup instead of grinding directly over an open portafilter. The shaped rim helps align with a 54 mm Breville or Sage basket for a controlled transfer before distribution and tamping.

One cup for both brand names
Breville sells its espresso machines under the Sage brand in the UK and much of Europe. The machines and their 54 mm portafilters are the same, so this cup fits a Sage Barista Express exactly as it fits a Breville Barista Express. If you use an aftermarket basket, check that its rim matches the stock 54 mm basket.

Does it fit Sage machines?
Yes. Sage is the name Breville uses in the UK and Europe. The Sage Barista Express, Barista Express Impress, Barista Pro, Barista Touch, Bambino and Bambino Plus use the same 54 mm portafilter as their Breville versions, so the cup fits them the same way.
Will it fit a 51 mm or 58 mm portafilter?
No. This is a 54 mm dosing cup and is not compatible with other basket sizes, including the 58 mm Breville/Sage Oracle, Oracle Touch, Oracle Jet and Dual Boiler.
How is a dosing cup different from a dosing funnel or ring?
A dosing funnel (ring) sits on top of the portafilter while you grind straight in and keeps grounds from spilling over the rim. A dosing cup is a separate container you grind into, so you can weigh the dose, break up clumps and then invert it onto the portafilter. The cup is the tidier option if your grinder does not dose directly into a portafilter.
How do I transfer the coffee?
Align the portafilter against the cup, hold both pieces securely, invert them together and allow the grounds to settle into the basket.
Can I use a WDT tool with it?
Yes. You can break up clumps in the dosing cup before transferring with the Yozcoffee 7-needle WDT tool, or use WDT in the portafilter after the grounds are moved. For tamping, a 53 mm tamper such as our 53 mm spring-loaded tamper is the standard size for a 54 mm Breville/Sage basket.
How should I clean it?
Brush away loose grounds, wipe with a soft cloth when needed and dry fully before storage. Avoid abrasive cleaners that may mark the finish.
What are the return and warranty terms?
