Aluminum Moka Pot · 3-Cup / 6-Cup

Rich Moka Coffee. Classic Stovetop Brewing.

Brew bold, aromatic coffee at home with a compact octagonal moka pot made for simple daily use. Water in the lower chamber heats, builds gentle steam pressure and pushes up through the coffee into the top chamber - no electricity, pods or paper filters needed.

A cream-colored octagonal body and wood-look handle bring a warm, vintage finish to your stovetop and coffee corner.

3-Cup or 6-Cup

150ml for a solo cup; 300ml for two people or milk drinks.

Thoughtful Details

Classic Shape. Practical Details.

The faceted aluminum body pairs a cream finish with a wood-look handle and lid knob. A brass-colored stainless steel safety valve sits on the lower chamber.

Keep water below the valve and the gas flame within the base diameter, away from the handle.

Brewing Guide

Brew in Four Simple Steps

  1. Fill the lower chamber with hot water, keeping the level just below the safety valve. Starting with hot water shortens heating time and helps avoid a bitter, over-cooked taste.
  2. Fill the funnel basket loosely to the rim with medium-fine ground coffee and level it gently without tamping. Wipe any grounds off the rim.
  3. Insert the basket and screw the upper and lower chambers together securely, holding the hot base with a towel. Heat on low to medium-low.
  4. When the coffee turns pale and you hear a gurgling sound, remove the pot from the heat. Pour and enjoy right away.

Do not open the lid or disassemble the pot during brewing. The pot and coffee will be hot; handle with care.

Everyday Care

Easy to Take Apart. Easy to Clean.

Before first use: wash all parts, then brew two or three pots and discard the coffee. This seasons the aluminum interior and removes any manufacturing taste.

After each use, let the pot cool completely before taking it apart. Remove the funnel basket, filter plate and sealing ring, then hand wash with mild detergent and a soft sponge. Rinse thoroughly and let every part dry completely before reassembly.

Do not place in a microwave, oven, dishwasher or sterilizing cabinet. Avoid abrasive cleaners that may damage the exterior coating.

Common Questions

Which size should I choose?

Choose the 150ml (3-cup) pot for one person and a short, strong coffee. Choose the 300ml (6-cup) pot to serve two people, or if you usually add milk or hot water and want a larger drink.

Is moka pot coffee the same as espresso?

Not exactly. A moka pot brews with steam pressure of roughly 1-2 bar, while an espresso machine uses about 9 bar. The result is strong and concentrated like espresso, with a fuller body than drip coffee, but with little or no crema.

What grind size should I use?

Start with a medium-fine grind, slightly coarser than a typical espresso-machine grind. Do not tamp the coffee in the funnel basket.

Why does my moka coffee taste bitter or burnt?

Usually the heat is too high, the coffee stayed on the stove too long, or the grind is too fine. Start with hot water, brew on low to medium-low heat, and remove the pot as soon as it starts to gurgle.

Can I use it on an induction cooktop?

No. This model is designed for gas, electric, and electric ceramic cooktops and is not listed as induction compatible.

How should I control the heat?

Use low to medium-low heat. On a gas stove, keep the flame within the diameter of the pot base and away from the handle.

How should I clean it?

Let the pot cool, disassemble the removable parts, hand wash gently, rinse, and dry completely before reassembly. Before first use, brew and discard two or three pots.
