Grind & weigh
Weigh your coffee and total water, counting any ice as part of that water weight. Record your recipe so the next batch is easier to repeat.
Prepare the coffee bed
Fit the reusable filter and add your grounds. The Classic brewer’s method uses filter paper over the coffee bed to help distribute water; check the product instructions and contents.
Set a steady drip
Add cold water, ice, or both. For the Classic brewer, begin at about 7–8 drops every 10 seconds. Monitor the flow and adjust gradually; brewing time varies.
Serve & taste
Taste the finished coffee and dilute if desired. Serve over ice, or transfer it to a clean, sealed container and refrigerate promptly.
Make the next batch your own
Adjust the coffee-to-water ratio for strength, then try small grind or flow changes. Change one variable at a time. The glass tower uses its own filter arrangement and brewing guidance.
Prefer to steep?
How to make immersion cold brew in a bottle or pitcher
The Everyday Bottle and Sharing Pitcher use immersion. The slim bottle suggests 12–24 hours in the refrigerator; follow the pitcher’s own instructions when using that model.
Add coarse grounds
Place coffee in the removable filter basket, leaving space within its limit.
Add drinking water
Fit the basket and fill within the vessel’s capacity. Make sure the grounds contact the water.
Cover & refrigerate
Steep in the fridge according to your brewer’s guidance and desired strength.
Remove the filter
Taste and dilute if desired. Keep remaining coffee covered and refrigerated.
Cold coffee setup: frequently asked questions
What is the difference between cold drip, cold brew and iced coffee?
Cold drip passes cool water slowly through a bed of grounds. Immersion cold brew steeps grounds in water before filtering. Iced coffee is coffee served cold over ice; it can be brewed hot first. Choose cold drip if you enjoy adjusting flow, or immersion if you prefer preparing a batch in the fridge.
Which cold coffee setup is easiest to start with?
The Everyday Cold Brew Bottle is a simple starting point if you already have coarse ground coffee: add coffee and water, refrigerate to steep, then remove the infuser. The 1.9 L pitcher suits a larger batch. Choose either cold drip brewer if you enjoy setting and monitoring the water flow.
What coffee-to-water ratio should I use for cold drip?
Start with 1:12 by weight: 30 g coffee to 360 g total water, counting ice as part of the water. This is a starting recipe, not a fixed rule. Stay within the coffee basket and water chamber limits, then adjust to your beans and taste. The finished coffee volume will be lower than the water you add.
What grind size works for these brewers?
Start medium-coarse for the Classic Cold Drip brewer, medium for the Glass Drip Tower, and coarse for the immersion bottle or pitcher. Follow the selected brewer’s instructions. Avoid espresso-fine grounds in the slim bottle, where they can pass through or clog the infuser.
How long does cold coffee take to brew?
The Everyday Cold Brew Bottle suggests 12–24 hours in the refrigerator. Follow the pitcher’s own guidance for immersion brewing. Cold drip has no single fixed time: coffee dose, grind size, water and ice amounts, and flow rate all affect the duration. Monitor the drip and record your recipe.
Do I need a grinder, scale and serving cup?
The brewer is the starting point. Use a grinder if you want to grind whole beans and adjust grind size; suitable pre-ground coffee also works. A scale helps you repeat your coffee-to-water ratio. A serving cup is optional. Uncheck any tools you already own before adding your selection to cart.
Do I need paper filters, and are they included?
The Classic brewer’s illustrated method uses paper over the coffee bed, but paper is not listed in its box contents; its main filter is reusable stainless steel. The Glass Drip Tower includes 100 round filter papers. The immersion bottle and pitcher use removable reusable filters. Check the selected product’s instructions before brewing.
Does the stated capacity equal the amount of coffee I can serve?
No. Capacity describes the vessel, not a guaranteed finished yield. The Classic brewer has a 450 ml upper chamber and 650 ml lower carafe; the tower has a 600 ml serving carafe, the bottle holds 600 ml, and the pitcher is 1.9 L. Grounds and filters occupy space, and grounds retain water.
How do the product selection and bundle saving work?
Only the checked products and selected variants in the setup you add go into your cart. Coffee and unselected accessories are not included. Selection totals and the displayed bundle saving update as you choose items. Review the final discount in your cart and at checkout. Adding another setup can add an extra unit of a shared accessory.
Can the cold brew bottle travel in a bag?
The slim bottle is leak-resistant, not described as fully leakproof. Close it carefully and keep it upright during storage and transport. Do not rely on it staying sealed when laid on its side in a bag.
How should I clean the equipment and store finished coffee?
Empty the grounds and clean removable brewing parts after use, following each product’s care instructions. Let parts dry before storing, and keep the scale’s electronics dry. Enjoy finished coffee immediately or transfer it to a clean, sealed container and refrigerate promptly.
Where can I check shipping, returns or get help choosing?
Use the shipping policy for current delivery information and the return policy for eligibility and conditions. Contact Yozcoffee with your preferred brew method, available space and the tools you already own for help choosing a setup.
