The round format is designed to sit inside compatible filter areas without folding or cutting. Measure the usable inside diameter of your moka pot or espresso basket before ordering.
Moka pots: measure across the inside of the funnel basket where the grounds sit; funnel diameters differ between brands and between 1-, 3-, 6- and 9-cup sizes, so the same paper size does not fit every pot. Espresso: 58 mm suits standard 58 mm baskets (E61, Gaggia, Rancilio and most prosumer machines), 54 mm suits Breville/Sage 54 mm machines and 53 mm suits older 53 mm baskets.

Help retain more fine particles during brewing
The wood pulp paper adds another barrier between coffee grounds and the brewed cup. Results depend on the brewer, grind and placement, so follow the instructions for your specific setup.
In a moka pot the disc sits on top of the grounds in the funnel, so fine particles and some oils are held back before the coffee rises. In an espresso basket a disc under the puck helps reduce channeling and keeps the basket and shower screen cleaner; some baristas also place one on top of the puck.

Select the paper diameter that fits the intended filter area without bunching or leaving a large gap. Keep unused papers sealed or covered in a clean, dry place and follow the operating instructions for your brewer.

Which size should I choose?
Measure the usable inside diameter of the intended filter area, then select the matching 53 mm, 54 mm, 56 mm or 58 mm option.
Which size fits my moka pot?
Moka pot funnel diameters vary by brand and cup size, so there is no single answer. Measure across the inside of the funnel basket (where the grounds sit) or the top of the grounds bed and choose the closest of 53, 54, 56 or 58 mm. A disc that is slightly small still works; one that is too large will bunch at the edges.
Can I use these paper filters in an espresso portafilter?
Yes. Many home baristas place a paper disc at the bottom of the basket (under the puck) to reduce channeling and keep the shower screen and basket cleaner, or on top of the puck. Use 58 mm for standard 58 mm baskets, 54 mm for Breville/Sage 54 mm machines and 53 mm for older 53 mm baskets. Pair with the 58 mm dosing cup or the 54 mm Breville dosing cup for cleaner transfers.
What is the difference between Yellow and White?
Yellow is the natural wood pulp paper option, while White uses bleached wood pulp paper. Both are supplied as pre-cut round filters.
Do paper filters change how moka pot coffee tastes?
A paper disc traps more fine sediment and some oils than the metal filter plate alone, so the cup is typically cleaner and less silty. If you prefer a heavier, more traditional moka body, brew without the paper.
Do I need to rinse the paper?
Rinsing is optional and depends on your brewing method. If your brewer's routine calls for rinsing, wet the paper and discard the rinse water before brewing.
Can I reuse a filter?
No. Each paper is designed for one brewing session and should be discarded with the spent grounds.
How should I store unused filters?
Keep them clean, dry and protected from moisture and strong odors until needed.
