The Yozcoffee 58 mm bottomless (naked) portafilter is made for E61 group heads: a 304 stainless steel body, a natural walnut wood handle and a flat base, in Gold or Silver. With no spouts under the basket you can watch the extraction and diagnose channeling, spraying and uneven flow, then correct grind, dose, distribution or tamping. It fits E61 machines such as Rocket, ECM, Profitec, Lelit Mara X/Bianca, Expobar, Bezzera and Quick Mill, and takes standard 58 mm baskets (stock, VST, IMS). It does not fit Gaggia Classic, Rancilio Silvia, Breville Dual Boiler/Oracle or La Marzocco, which are 58 mm but not E61.
Best for: E61 owners dialling in espresso or upgrading the look of their machine. Not for: any non-E61 group head - confirm your machine before ordering.

Compatibility Comes First
This portafilter is made for E61 group heads - the classic chrome group with a brew lever found on Rocket (Appartamento, Giotto, Mozzafiato), ECM (Classika, Mechanika, Synchronika), Profitec (Pro 500/600/700), Lelit (Mara X, Bianca), Expobar, Bezzera (Magica, Unica), Quick Mill, Vibiemme and similar machines. It takes standard 58 mm baskets, including VST and IMS.
It does not fit Gaggia Classic, Rancilio Silvia, Breville Dual Boiler/Oracle or La Marzocco: they use 58 mm baskets but different lug geometry. Portafilter ears, locking angle and gasket condition also vary, so confirm your machine before ordering and never force a portafilter that does not lock in smoothly.
Cleaning & Care
Allow hot metal parts to cool, then remove the basket and rinse coffee-contact surfaces after brewing. Hand wash the metal body with mild detergent when needed, avoid abrasive cleaners, and dry thoroughly. Wipe the walnut handle with a lightly damp cloth; do not soak the wood or place the portafilter in a dishwasher.

Which espresso machines does it fit?
It is designed for compatible E61 group heads. Confirm your exact machine model, locking-tab geometry and basket fit before ordering; an E61-style appearance or a 58 mm basket diameter alone does not establish compatibility.
Will it fit every 58mm espresso machine?
No. A shared basket diameter does not guarantee the same ear geometry or locking fit. Gaggia Classic, Rancilio Silvia, Breville Dual Boiler and Oracle, and La Marzocco all use 58 mm baskets but non-E61 groups, so this portafilter will not lock into them. Confirm that your machine uses an E61 group before ordering.
Which baskets fit it?
Standard 58 mm espresso baskets - the stock basket from your E61 machine, or precision baskets such as VST and IMS in single, double or triple depth.
Why use a bottomless portafilter?
It exposes the basket underside so you can observe extraction and spot signs of uneven puck preparation. The open view provides feedback while you adjust grind, dose, distribution and tamping. Bottomless or spouted - which should I use day to day?
Bottomless for dialling in, checking a new coffee or improving technique; a spouted portafilter for splitting a double into two cups or when you would rather not risk a spray. Many home baristas keep both.
Why does espresso spray during extraction?
Spraying often points to uneven flow through the puck. Review distribution, tamp level, grind, dose, and basket cleanliness before the next shot. A WDT tool before tamping can help break up clumps, but spraying may require adjustments to several preparation variables.
Does natural walnut look identical on every handle?
No. Natural wood can vary slightly in grain, shade, and pattern, making each handle visually distinct.
How should I clean the wood handle?
Wipe it with a lightly damp cloth and dry promptly. Do not soak it, use abrasive cleaners, or put the portafilter in a dishwasher.
