How to Use
- Place the filter securely on a compatible cup, server or brewer on a level surface.
- Rinse the filter with hot water, discard the rinse water, then add medium-ground coffee as a starting point.
- Pour a little hot water to wet the grounds, then keep pouring slowly in stages.
- Let the coffee drain. The metal can become hot; allow it to cool enough to handle before lifting it off.
- Adjust grind, dose and pouring pace to taste. Try a slightly coarser grind if drainage is slow or there is more sediment than you prefer. Brew volume depends on your recipe and vessel.
Care After Brewing
Let the filter cool, empty the used grounds into a waste or compost container, then rinse the mesh promptly. Hand wash gently when needed, avoid abrasive scrubbers and let it dry before storing.
If drainage slows over time, check the mesh for trapped grounds or coffee-oil buildup and clean it before your next brew.

Do I need paper filters with a stainless steel pour-over filter?
No. This filter is designed to brew directly through its stainless steel mesh. Paper filters are not required.
Which filter size fits my cup or server?
Check the size guide above against your vessel's rim, shape and depth. The listed opening is the filter's top opening, not a guaranteed compatible cup diameter. Check that the filter can rest securely with clearance for coffee below the cone.
Does a metal filter change the taste compared with paper?
Metal mesh allows more natural coffee oils and fine particles through than paper, giving a fuller texture. Some sediment is normal; the amount depends on your coffee, grind and pouring technique.
Do I get both sizes?
No. Each order includes one filter in the size you select.
What grind size works best?
Start with a medium grind and adjust to taste. If drainage is slow or you want less sediment, try a slightly coarser grind. Very fine grounds can slow the flow through the mesh.
