The maximum capacity includes everything placed on the scale: cup, portafilter, brewer, server, coffee, and water. Tare your empty container before measuring, and do not immerse the scale or expose it to direct flames or extreme heat.

Remove the silicone pad and clean it separately. Wipe the glass surface and aluminum body with a soft, damp cloth, dry the scale fully, and keep moisture away from the USB-C port. Avoid immersion and abrasive cleaners.

Is it suitable for espresso?
Yes, for weighing the dose and beverage yield and tracking brew time. Drip-tray fit depends on your machine: check the available platform space and clearance beneath the spouts with your cup in place. Contact us if you need dimensions before ordering.
Can I use it for pour-over?
Yes. It can track coffee-to-water ratio, bloom time, pulse pours, and total brew time on one display.
What does the 2 kg capacity include?
It is the combined weight of the pad, container, brewing equipment, coffee and water on the scale. Taring resets the display but does not increase the 2 kg capacity.
Do I need a separate timer?
No. The built-in display shows weight and brew time together.
Does it use disposable batteries?
No. The internal battery recharges through USB-C using the included cable.
How do I use it to dial in espresso?
Weigh your ground coffee in a stable container. Next, place an empty cup on the scale, tare it and track the shot weight and time. For example, 18 g of coffee and 36 g of espresso is a 1:2 brew ratio. Treat this as a starting recipe, then adjust for your beans and taste; there is no single correct extraction time for every coffee.
Is 0.1 g resolution enough for espresso?
A 0.1 g display increment lets you read smaller changes than a whole-gram display when measuring coffee doses or espresso yield. Resolution describes the display step; it is not a guarantee of ±0.1 g measurement accuracy.
Is it waterproof?
No. Wipe the body with a soft, damp cloth and clean the removable silicone pad separately. Do not rinse or immerse the scale. Keep the USB-C port dry and avoid direct heat.
Can I use it as a regular kitchen scale?
Yes. With a 2 kg maximum and 0.1 g increments it works for baking, tea, matcha and portion weighing as long as the total load, including the container, stays under 2 kg.
