How to Use

1. Select the size that seats correctly on your portafilter basket. Place the magnetic dosing ring over the basket.
2. Add freshly ground coffee. Adjust the needle reach so the needles move through the grounds without striking the basket.
3. Set the distributor in place, press gently and rotate. Lift it away, remove the ring, then tamp and brew as usual.
4. After use, pass the needles through the brush in the cleaning base and store the tool upright.

FAQ

Which size should I choose?

Match the selected 51, 53 or 58 mm version to your basket's usable opening and rim. A machine's nominal portafilter size alone does not guarantee that a rim-supported tool will seat correctly.

Does it replace tamping?

No. Use WDT to distribute the grounds, then tamp. A compatible espresso tamper completes the preparation.

What does the magnetic ring do?

It helps keep ground coffee inside the portafilter as the needles move through the dose. Remove it before tamping.

How do I care for the needles?

Clean them with the supplied brush after each use. Handle the fine tips gently, and let the parts dry before storage. Six spare needles are included for replacement when needed.
