Espresso & compact spaces
Measure the drip tray and the space beneath the spouts, including your cup and the scale. The 87 mm and 90 mm mini models combine 0.1 g display increments with a timer and a 2 kg maximum load.

For espresso, start with drip-tray fit. For pour-over, check platform stability and total load. For bean dosing, a weighing cup keeps measuring and transferring together.

Choose a stable platform that supports your dripper, server, coffee and water together. A built-in timer lets you follow bloom and total brew time while watching the water weight.
A weighing cup lets you dose beans and pour them into the grinder. The 0.01 g bean cup is for weighing and transfer; choose a platform scale with a timer when you need to follow a brew.
Dimensions and functions come from the linked product specifications. Display increments describe readability, not a laboratory accuracy guarantee. Prices and availability are shown on the product cards above.

|---|---|---|---|---|
| 90 mm mini coffee scale | 0.1 g | 2 kg | 90 × 95 × 19 mm body | Manual, pour-over and espresso modes |

A 2 kg platform limit includes the vessel and everything placed on it, even after taring. Cup volume in ml and weighing capacity in g are different measurements. Where a specification is not listed, contact us before choosing. Ask about scale specifications
Set the scale on a firm, level surface. Place your vessel and zero the display before adding coffee.
Measure your beans or grounds. Keep the dose consistent when comparing changes to your recipe.
For pour-over, 20 g coffee with 320 g water is a 1:16 starting recipe. For espresso, 18 g coffee yielding 36 g in the cup is a 1:2 starting ratio. Adjust to taste and your brewer.
Note dose, water or beverage weight, and brew time. Change one variable at a time when adjusting the cup.
For tracking espresso yield and pour-over water, 0.1 g increments offer a practical level of detail. The 0.01 g bean weighing cup gives finer displayed steps for dosing small amounts, but it has no brew timer. Finer readability alone does not establish greater accuracy.
Compare the full scale dimensions with your drip tray and allow room for your cup beneath the spouts. The 87 mm model measures 92 × 87 × 17 mm; the 90 mm model measures 90 × 95 × 19 mm. Keep the scale stable and the display visible. Fit is not universal.
No. Tare resets the displayed weight, but the physical load still counts. On a 2 kg platform scale, the combined weight of the server, dripper, coffee and water must stay within 2 kg.
The 90 mm mini scale offers M1 pour-over timing and M2 espresso timing. The KF03 offers M1 automatic timing with a pour-over ratio display and M2 automatic start/stop espresso timing. Use the mode instructions on the relevant product page; timing behavior varies by model.
Do not immerse or rinse an electronic scale body. Keep the charging port dry and clean removable silicone pads separately. The 200 ml dosing cup lists IPX4 splash resistance, which does not protect its base against immersion.
A dosing cup can weigh beans, and the 200 ml model can also weigh grounds and liquids. It is a different format from a flat brewing platform. The 0.01 g bean cup does not have a brew timer; choose a timer-equipped platform scale when you need to track weight and brew time together.
